About the Venue

The Global Open Kukkiwon Cup venue is in the small and historic town of Smithfield, North Carolina, located only 30 miles southeast of downtown Raleigh and 45 miles from the Raleigh-Durham (RDU) International Airport. The SSS (Smithfield Selma Senior High) & SRAC (Smithfield Recreation and Aquatics Center) location offers the following amenities. We believe all participants and families of the 2023 Global Open KUKKIWON CUP will enjoy what the complex offers.

 

- Well-landscaped hiking area

- Extensive kids’ playgrounds

- Football, Soccer, and baseball fields

- Picnic shelters

- Ample parking

- 2023 Global Open KUKKIWON CUP participants and families only need to pay $5/person to use an eight-lane competition-sized pool and a children’s splash park located inside of the SRAC.

 

Also, within a short driving distance, you will find hotels, restaurants, and a historical shopping mall, the Carolina Premium Outlets. All of these places are conveniently located right off the exit to Highway 95 (I-95, Exit 95), which runs from Miami, Florida to the Canada and the USA border.
